Scholarships
Alphington Grammar School offers a generous Scholarship Programme for current and prospective students. Scholarships are offered for students entering Years 5, 7 and 10 with specific criteria. The Scholarships Programme comprises of Endowed and Non-Endowed Scholarships.
Endowed Scholarships were awarded for students entering the 2012 Academic year, thanks to the following generous benefactors:
- Argyropoulos Scholarship for Academic Excellence
- Koukouvitakis Scholarship for Academic Excellence
- Pancretan Scholarship for General Excellence in Greek
- Sikavitsas Scholarship for General Excellence in Greek
All Academic Scholarships require students to register for an Exam at the school. The Alphington Grammar Scholarship Programme offers opportunities for current and future students entering Years 5, 7 and 10 in the following specific areas:
- General Academic Excellence
- General Academic Excellence in Greek
The next Scholarship Date for entry in the 2013 academic year, is Saturday 17th March 2012

Apply for SST (Applicable for Years 7, 10, 11 - 2013 Entry)
The following Scholarships do not require exams and are offered annually on the basis of formal written application, interview, portfolio review and evaluation by a committee of Alphington Grammar educational specialists:
- Exceptional Achievement in The Arts, incorporating either Dance, Music, Drama or Visual Arts
- Exceptional Achievement in Sport
Applications for Sport and The Arts Scholarships will be available online in May 2012 for 2013 entries.
