Current Availabilities 

Alphington Grammar School are currently seeking to fill the following positions.

Alphington Grammar School is a co-educational school catering for students in ELC to Year 12. The School is seeking an experienced and qualified Cello Teacher to join the talented team of music professionals in the thriving Music Department. Please note that this role is casual and term-time only.

This position will involve instrumental cello teaching for 3 hours per week (possible increase in hours).

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Suitable instrumental qualifications for the role
  • Demonstrated teacher experience with individuals and small groups
  • Ability to engage students 6 – 18 years old
  • Capacity to teach beginners and advanced students
  • Experience in preparing students for music exams
  • Willingness to work within the school timetable
  • Passion and enthusiasm for teaching music to students
  • Ability to work in a team
  • A current Working with Children Card or willingness to obtain one.

Co Educator – Early Learning Centre (4 hours per day, 5 days per week, term time only) to commence as soon as possible.  The role is for Term 1 however may be extended to ongoing.   Suitably qualified and experienced professionals should apply providing a full Curriculum Vitae and cover letter outlining relevant experience and including the names, addresses and contact details of three confidential referees.
