Our Campus

Located just 7km north east of the CBD, Alphington Grammar School is located on one idyllic campus, along the banks of the Darebin Creek.

Our campus includes expansive grounds, sporting ovals, tennis courts and a modern gym and Performing Arts building, as well as a purpose built Years 3-6 classroom wing that incorporates functional breakout learning areas adjacent to the classroom.

With seven acres at our disposal, the campus is comfortably spread out, providing ample space for a variety of indoor and outdoor learning spaces. Our sporting fields sit alongside the bike path, on the banks of the Darebin Creek, providing a beautiful environment for PE classes and sporting fixtures alike.

With tennis courts, cricket nets, a full sized soccer pitch, as well as a softball diamond, our indoor space within the Andrianakos Centre ensures basketball, netball, futsal and a variety of sports are on offer to our students.

Multi purpose courts can be used for tennis, soccer and a variety of other activities
The annual Music Showcase in the Andrianakos Centre

The Andrianakos Centre not only services our active Sports Department, but also houses our Music Department, with a variety of spaces available for individual and group music tuition and rehearsals, secondary music classes and break out spaces for our many bands and groups to rehearse.

Incorporating a stage connecting the Music Department to the Gymnasium, the Andrianakos Centre is the pinnacle of multi-use spaces – home to our annual Mother’s Day High Tea, Music Showcase and Year Level Concerts and Productions, as well as regular school assemblies.

From ELC to VCE, our classrooms are located in specially designed buildings, created for the developing needs of our students. We continue to upgrade the existing facilities.

With support from the school community, Alphington Grammar will embark on its most ambitious project yet. The completion of the Student Reception will see construction commence of the new STEM and Student Hub. This project, due for completion in March 2019 will provide students a hands on approach to learning, through discovery and experimentation. The multi-functional laboratories and collaborative learning hubs will deliver enhanced learning opportunities in the STEM space.
