Our students have a wide range of co-curricular opportunities available to them. These opportunities bring breadth to their educational experience and assist in their own development as interesting, caring and responsible members of both the school community and the local community.
The co-curricular program fosters strong and developing relationships between our students and teachers, within peer groups and also across broader age groups. It also links closely with the many leadership opportunities available to our students.
All students from Year 7 to Year 11 are involved in our interschool sport competition. Students in Year 12 are encouraged to also participate, but are give the option.
Alphington Grammar School is part of the EISM, which incorporates many schools in the eastern part of Melbourne. The competition includes weekly sport against other EISM schools, and also the annual swimming, athletics and cross country carnivals.
All students in Year 7 and 8 are involved in the Outdoor Education Program. They attend a five day camp once per year. The camp provides our students with the opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and try new things.
Our Year 9 and 10 students also have the opportunity to travel and undertake new challenges – please learn about our Global Gateways Program here.
